All Radar Guns are designed to measure movement. Range Accuracy, and Acquisition Time are the key features of any Radar Gun. The Range is the distance from which a radar gun can clock a moving object. This can increase as your target gets larger. Most Sports Radar Guns and Baseball Radar Guns have a limited range of 60 feet and can go up to 1500 feet on an automobile The Accuracy of a Radar Gun is the measurement in which a moving object is measured and can have a +/- error range. A mid level radar gun such as the SR3600 has an accuracy of +/- 1 MPH. The Acquisition Time is the time that the radar gun uses to interpret the signal and display it on the radar gun or remote display board. For example the Aquisition Time on the Stalker Sport 2 radar gun is 10 milliseconds. The faster the Acquisition Time is relevent to the retail price of the radar gun.
