Each Speed CheckR model comes with magnets to attach on the back of each unit (the Laser Unit and the Speed Indicator) to allow users to mount the device in any field/plane and to quickly align lasers. Customers may purchase one of several mounting systems, although the devices can be mounted onto metal surfaces of your own choosing or creation. - A ring stand mounting kit to use with a physics lab ring stand (recommended for bench-top physic test applications).
- A floor stand to enable vertical mounting of the device to measure body motion or large object movements.
- A portable mounting stand system providing a full complete package ready to use. Allows the SpeedCheckR to be mounted quickly and easily (recommended for curling applications and hobby car racing.)
Also available is a hard-shell Speed CheckR Carrying Case, capable of holding the SpeedCheckR devices and accompanying kits or stands. Maximum "span" of the laser beams is approximately 6 feet. All SpeedCheckR models require two AA batteries and one 9 Volt battery to operate (not included). Speed CheckR for Physics and Science testing. Readings in meters/second with the option to toggle from immediate readings to delayed readings. Unique mounting method enables very fast set-up and quick change-over for experimentation. One simple-to-use device can be used for validation studies of gravity, acceleration, friction, momentum, and velocity measuring of: horizontal, vertical, rotational, and incline movements of objects. Toggle switch enables device to ignore subsequent beam interruptions or to take immediate/repeated readings. Accuracy of readings: .01 m/s from .5 to 10 m/s, .1 m/s from 10 to 50 m/s, and 1 m/s from 50 to 100 m/s. Objects must be .125" width minimum.
